Children's Mental Health Worker - Relief Positions

As a member of a collaborative multi-professional team, the Children’s Mental Health Worker-Relief is responsible for creating and maintaining a healing environment for children to heal, learn and grow.

Resource and Information Coordinator

The Resource and Information Coordinator receives and responds to initial phone/email enquiries from clients and community partners as one access mechanism for those wishing to explore or access children’s mental health services. Using a highly responsive, collaborative and client-centred approach, the Resource and Information Coordinator will assist individuals and families to navigate the various supports and services available, provide information, consultation and support, manage telephone crises as they arise, and ensure accessibility/accommodations to facilitate access to supports and services.

This volunteer role helps to enhance knowledge and increase visibility of the agency in the community.

Carizon partners with a variety of educational institutions to assist their students in the process of completing their course requirements. We provide a limited number of unpaid placements each semester of the year in several of our programs.
