Children's Mental Health Worker - Relief Positions

As a member of a collaborative multi-professional team, the Children’s Mental Health Worker-Relief is responsible for creating and maintaining a healing environment for children to heal, learn and grow.

Board of Directors

Carizon is looking for Board Directors with a passion for community service and a willingness to increase Carizon’s profile in the Region of Waterloo.  Interested candidates with expertise in fund development, marketing and branding, risk management, or board governance are welcome to apply.

Interested candidates are encouraged to attend Carizon information sessions to be held at the following times at the Carizon head office at 400 Queen Street South in Kitchener:

  • Thursday, March 30th from 4:30pm to 6pm in Room 119
  • Wednesday, April 19th from 4:30 to 6pm in the Sehl Room

Community Connector

The Community Connector will engage and identify block connectors in the assigned neighbourhood, and will establish and maintain the network between them. This position is the result of collaboration between Carizon Family and Community Services and the United Way of Kitchener Waterloo and area.

Student Opportunities

Carizon partners with a variety of educational institutions to assist their students in the process of completing their course requirements. We provide a limited number of unpaid placements each semester of the year in several of our programs.
