Thank you OTF for your support in our Intake Redesign Project
We would like to share immense gratitude for the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation in providing grant funding to make the first phase of our Intake Redesign Project possible. Through the generosity of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Carizon initiated the first stage of the Intake Redesign Project using a lean six-sigma framework which includes the voices of employees, community partners, and the people it serves. This phase of the project revealed improvements needed for effectively connecting people to the right services at the right time. This funding has allowed us to identify areas for improvement and rethink the way in which the intake process will be executed and experienced. It also provides the tools to help identify inefficiencies within the process, ultimately supporting the organizations’ ability to meet the increased intake demands resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are grateful to receive funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to make this project possible. We are extremely proud of the work our team has accomplished in identifying efficiencies for employees while helping support timely access to mental health services for children and families in our community”, says Tracy Elop, CEO of Carizon Family and Community Services.
